Organisation Spotlight: Jobs and Business Glasgow

As a part of a new blog series here at Good About Govan, we will be highlighting a different organisation working within the Govan Ward each month. To start us off, we have Jobs and Business Glasgow!

Jobs and Business Glasgow are funded to help Glasgow City Council residents over the age of 16, who either looking for work or hoping to change jobs. They do this through offering a range of supportive services such as:

• Building confidence skills.

• Offering careers advice.

• Offering money advice.

• Helping you create a CV and Cover Letter.

• Providing skills training and paid work experience.

• Helping you navigate job searches, job applications and interview skills.

• And offering in-job support for when you find employment!

They currently have advisors working in ElderPark Housing Association, Govan Job Centre and Ibrox Library. You can also call their freephone number to register- 0300 123 2898.
